   Thanks to all of you that came out to the orchid shows and made them such a great success. Everyone is so anxious for spring to arrive that we are all  hungry to see anything colorful and in bloom! There were numerous displays with many fine specimens to admire and envy as well as plants and supplies to purchase. Turn to our orchid plant shop in Concord, Ohio, for a wonderful selection of orchids and wedding arrangement bouquets.

   We weren't expecting President Obama to be showing up at the Strongsville Recreational Center the day after the West Shore Orchid Society show. At 8:00 AM Sunday the parking lot was full of cars from the people lining up halfway around the building waiting for tickets that they did not start to distribute until 2:00. So for all you folks that parked at the mall and hiked over, we really appreciate you. 

   Mark your calender for April 24 & 25. The annual Orchid Show and Sale of The Greater Cleveland Orchid Society will be held at the South Euclid Community Center, 1370 Victory Drive, off Mayfield Road. The hours will be Saturday 11 to 5 and Sunday 10-4. We hope to see you there!
